Applications are now open for the interim Australian CDC Vacation Internship Program.
The Vacation Internship Program is a paid full-time internship of up to 12 weeks during the 2024–25 university summer holidays. Commencement dates are flexible however most internships will begin in December 2024.
We want to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic and motivated university student studying in one of the following fields:
- epidemiology
- public health
- biostatistics
- environmental health science
- health leadership and management
- global health.
Medical or STEM disciplines are preferred, however applications will be considered from high-performing students of other study disciplines.
This opportunity is open to students who have achieved at least a credit average in their studies and are:
- masters and PhD students
- bachelors students who have completed at least 2 years of full-time study
- recent graduates.
Where possible, successful applicants will be placed in a role which aligns to their career goals. Using your skills, knowledge and experience, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of tasks. You will gain valuable and practical hands-on policy experience, putting your mark on the future of Australian health.
